Compassionate Therapy for Lasting Change

Understanding Yourself, Your Life and Your Journey

Life has a way of shaping us. The experiences we have, the relationships we build, the challenges we face. The stories we tell ourselves all become part of who we are. Sometimes this leaves us feeling lost or overwhelmed.

Challenges You Might Be Facing

Anxiety & Panic Attacks

Before Therapy | Struggling with physical symptoms (racing heart, breathlessness), avoiding situations, difficulty sleeping or working.

After Therapy | The noise in your mind quietens. You become calmer and more confident managing anxiety without letting it define you.

Social Anxiety Disorder

Before Therapy | Avoidance of social settings, physical symptoms (sweating, shaking). Fear of judgment, self-criticism, shame.

After Therapy | Confidence to be yourself, embrace social situations with ease and connect authentically with others, opening the door to opportunities you once thought were beyond your reach.

Identity Conflict

Before Therapy | Feeling misunderstood by family, culture or wider society.

After Therapy | You move from feeling conflicted about who you should be, to feeling grounded in who you truly are, with the confidence to live authentically.

Poor Boundaries / People-Pleasing

Before Therapy | Feeling misunderstood by family, culture or wider society.

After Therapy | You gain the confidence to set healthy boundaries, honour your own needs without guilt and build relationships based on mutual respect rather than obligation.

PTSD / Complex PTSD

Before Therapy | Flashbacks, nightmares, hyperarousal, difficulty functioning daily.

After Therapy | Gain confidence to embrace your whole story, transforming pain into resilience and hope for the future. You are a survivor with wisdom

Abuse and Trauma

Before Therapy | Physical/emotional scars, difficulty trusting others, relationship struggles.

After Therapy | You move beyond surviving the effects of trauma, developing greater resilience, emotional balance and trust in yourself and others.

Attachment Disorders

Before Therapy | Difficulty forming or maintaining relationships, fear of closeness or abandonment.

After Therapy | You find confidence and security within yourself, creating relationships built on trust and mutual respect.

Abandonment Issues

Before Therapy | Clinginess, difficulty trusting, relationship instability.

After Therapy | You become less driven by the fear of rejection, finding confidence in yourself and creating more secure, fulfilling relationships.

Emotional Dysregulation

Before Therapy | Your emotions often feel like they’re in control, making everyday situations overwhelming and leaving you feeling drained, misunderstood and stuck in survival mode.

After Therapy | Become inspired by how regulating emotions unlocks your full potential, accepting your emotional depth as a gift, not a curse.

OCD and Intrusive Thoughts

OCD and Intrusive Thoughts Before Therapy | Trapped in a cycle of intrusive thoughts and compulsions that create overwhelming anxiety, making it difficult to feel in control of your daily life.

After Therapy | The obsessive loops slow down, calming your mind. You realise you can coexist with uncertainty and still thrive.

Time To Let Go Of What is Holding You Back

True change begins when we pause to understand our internal landscape, acknowledge the external forces that have shaped us and embrace the existential search for meaning and purpose.

Tracey Grant | BACP Registered Cognitive Behavioural Therapist

My role is to provide a safe, supportive, and professionally held space where you can explore your experiences, gain insight into patterns that may no longer serve you, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been overlooked or forgotten.

My Therapeutic Approach

Through a Person-Centred approach, I offer a compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can explore life’s challenges at your own pace. Using CBT techniques, we’ll uncover what’s beneath the surface, understand the experiences that have shaped you, and work towards meaningful, lasting change. My aim is to help you build greater self-understanding, confidence, and resilience as you move forward.

"From my very first session, I felt listened to and accepted without judgement. Tracey created a calm space where I could talk openly and begin to make sense of what I was going through. I've gained a much better understanding of myself and developed healthier ways of coping with life's challenges. I'm incredibly grateful for Tracey's support."

Online and In-person Sessions Located in Rugby, Devon

The therapy room itself is situated on the top floor of a charming Victorian building. Due to the stairs, it is unfortunately not accessible for clients with mobility difficulties. However, I am committed to making therapy as accessible as possible and am happy to discuss alternative arrangements, such as home visits or online sessions, where appropriate, to ensure you can receive the support you need.
